Feeding guide

How much freeze-dried raw food should a dog eat?

Feed by your dog’s weight. The chart below is the feeding guide printed on the AlphaPak bag: a daily amount as a full meal, or a smaller amount as a topper over your dog’s current food. A 16 oz bag holds about 15 cups.

Daily feeding amounts by dog weight, as a full meal or a topper

Over 25 lb3 cups¾ cup~5~6

“Days per bag” and “bags / month” are for a full meal; fed as a topper, a bag lasts much longer.

Full meal or topper?

AlphaPak can be the whole bowl, or a topper over another diet. As a topper, use the smaller amount above. A bag then lasts much longer and costs less per day. For a larger dog, many dog people feed AlphaPak as a topper. Talk with your vet about the right base diet for your dog.

Every dog is different

These amounts are a starting point from the bag’s guide. Puppies, very active dogs, and dogs with medical needs may need more or less, so adjust with your vet. Find your recipe gives the daily amount and monthly bags for your dog’s weight, plus our recipe pick.
