Leashes & collars
Every leash here is built on the same idea: climbing-grade hardware on soft, fast-drying material. The rope leashes use real Kernmantle climbing rope, the clips are rated for over 800 lbs of pull weight and work one-handed, and the colors match the packs, the harness, and each other.
Where the leash clips
A leash is half a setup. The harness takes the pressure off the throat, and the packs are built on that same harness.
Questions people ask before they buy
- Thickness and feel. The 7mm is thinner Kernmantle climbing rope — strong but flexible, a great fit for small and medium dogs. The 10mm is the heavier rope with a D-shaped carabiner for added pull strength. Both use a woven exterior sheath that protects the load-bearing core.
- The metal clips are rated for over 800 lbs of pull weight, and they hook and release with one hand. The 10mm rope leash uses a D-shaped climbing-style carabiner instead.
- The Everyday Runner. It snaps around your waist for hands-free miles, and two stretchable accordion sections absorb jerking movements instead of passing them to your back — or your dog's neck. Pair it with the harness rather than a collar.
- Measure around the base of the neck, where the collar will sit. Small runs 8–12", Medium 8–12" in a wider 3/4" band, Large 14–20", and Extra Large 20–26". The collars are reflective, fast-drying, and match the leashes and packs.
- Walking two dogs on one leash. The Teton coupler has a rotating ring so the dogs don't tangle, and a stretchable accordion section on each side so one dog's lunge doesn't jerk the other.
