Choosing the right collar for your dog is important for their health and safety. No matter if you’re taking a stroll in the park or hanging out around the house, collars are useful for walking your pup outdoors and for pet identification. But how do you know which collar is best for your dog?

To properly find the right fit, place two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck. If you struggle to work your fingers in between, the collar is too tight. If three or four fingers can fit between, tighten the collar up a notch.
